FALMOUTH — Jake Grade and Henry Norris each recorded a hat trick and Isac Nordstrom got his 100th career point as Falmouth ended the boys’ hockey regular season with a 13-0 win over Thornton Academy at Family Ice Center.

Grade also had two assists, and Nordstrom and Brandon Peters each finished with two goals and two assists.

Connor MacDowell contributed three assists.

Falmouth (13-5), the two-time defending Class A state champion, will be the No. 1 seed in the Western Class A playoffs, which begin Tuesday.

Thornton closed its season with a 2-16 record.

NOBLE/WELLS 6, SOUTH PORTLAND/FREEPORT/WAYNFLETE 3: Dean Pratt scored four goals, including his 50th of the season, as the Knights (15-3) beat the Red Riots (10-8) at Troubh Ice Arena.

Kyle Halvorsen, Andrew Whipple and Aidan Schifano each had a goal for the Red Riots, who will likely face Noble/Wells again in the Western Class A quarterfinals on Tuesday.

CHEVERUS 1, SCARBOROUGH 0: Jesse Cyr-Brophy scored at 8:15 of the second period and Kyle Severance recorded a shutout as the Stags (11-5-2) beat the Red Storm (10-5-3) at Troubh Ice Arena.

Cyr-Brophy sent a low shot past Scarborough goalie Ben Bragg on a play set up by James Kane and Garrett Dion.

BIDDEFORD 9, PORTLAND/DEERING 3: Ricky Ruck, Joe Anders and Zack Thompson each scored twice for the Tigers (10-6-2) in a win over the Bulldogs (7-11) at Biddeford.

Logan Magnant, Curtis Petit and Joey Curit added a goal apiece for Biddeford.

WATERVILLE 5, OLD TOWN/ORONO 3: The Purple Panthers (13-4-1) built a 4-0 lead in the first period and held off the Coyotes (8-9-1) at Waterville.

Cody Pellerin, Dalton Henderson, Jackson Aldrich, Nick Denis and Michael Oliveira tallied a goal apiece for Waterville.

WINDHAM 4, MT. ARARAT/LISBON 3: Keegan Pock’s goal 55 seconds into overtime gave Windham (7-9-2) a victory at USM Ice Arena.
