The 6-8 City Center building in downtown Portland, which houses Tom Veilleux Gallery, Men’s Room Salon & Lounge and Styxx Nightclub, has been sold to a local investment group for $1.4 million, a broker involved in the deal said Tuesday.

The investment group, Six City Center LLC, is led by developer Drew Swenson, president of Portland-based Paragon Management LLC. The seller was Chase Custom Homes & Finance Inc., which purchased the property in 2011 for $1.5 million, Portland Assessor’s Office records show. Its assessed value for tax purposes is $2.3 million.

The deal was brokered by Michael Anderson of Paragon, who represented the buyer, and John Doyon of Malone Commercial Brokers, who represented the seller.

Built in 1900, the 28,000-square-foot, four-story commercial property also contains office space on its upper floors, according to the assessor’s records.
