A two-vehicle crash sent a woman to the hospital and prompted the closing of part of Route 114 in Standish on Friday morning.
John Knowlton, 21, of Standish, was pulling out of a driveway at 680 Richville Road, also known as Route 114, about 7:55 a.m. when his pickup truck was broadsided by an eastbound Kia driven by Cynthia McLellan, 53, of Sebago, according to a news release from the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office.
McLellan was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland with injuries that were not life-threatening, and Knowlton and a passenger were treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Knowlton’s truck rolled over and Route 114 between Cole Hill Road and Harmon’s Beach Road was shut down for about two hours.
