NEW YORK — “Empire” is a powerhouse, but it might have just received its biggest endorsement: Mick Jagger says he’s a fan of the musical drama series.
“It’s been very successful and it’s great that a show about music can be that successful and it’s good for everybody. And I think it’s a really good show,” Jagger said in a phone interview Tuesday.
Last month’s season finale for the hit Fox series drew 17.6 million viewers in the second hour of the two-hour event. The first hour scored 15.8 million viewers.
