“Ripple Effect” is an exhibit of monoprints being unveiled this week and running through May at PhoPa Gallery. The images include “? (Question Mark)” by Barbra Whitten, whose work layers printed letters and punctuation to create large, abstract spaces. The show also features works by Karen Adrienne and Kris Sader. All three artists live and work in Maine and are members of Circling the Square Fine Art Press. Their show opens with a reception Friday, April 24, from 5-7 p.m., at PhoPa, 132 Washington Ave., Portland.
