The whole point behind the “religious freedom” bills in various states is not about hate or discrimination. There are many religions that oppose gay marriage, and many people who do, too. So how do we balance their rights in not wanting to participate in photographing or catering a gay marriage?

I would like to have an answer from the opponents of these bills as to how to acknowledge these folks’ rights. It’s not going to work to try to force people to accommodate gay marriages, as differing bills will certainly appear in the future.
