LOCAL AUTHOR Mary Lawrence will unveil her latest historical mystery series “The Alchemist’s Daughter.” Set in the time of Henry VIII, the book continues the adventures of fictional heroine Bianca Goddard, whose extensive background in science and medicine lends itself to a bit of detective work in solving mysterious deaths. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
