With all the negative press and protests these days, I thought we should hear about all those men and women in law enforcement who are out there every day and night protecting us.

There were 114 last year who gave their lives. In January 2015, 10 made the same sacrifice.

They have been ambushed making domestic violence calls, with shots fired. While eating lunch in their patrol cars and in restaurants, execution-style. Dragged in traffic stops, robberies – lots of heart attacks because of stress and confrontations. There are 1,000 law enforcement officers who have been disabled.

Think about the families of these men and women, the losses they have and will continue to have.

Too often the police are tried before facts are out, and even then the facts don’t matter to those who have other motives.
