PERHAM — One man has died in a single-vehicle crash in Perham, according to Maine State Police.
Troopers responded to High Meadow Road at about 10 p.m. Wednesday after a passing motorist reported that a pickup truck had crashed.
The driver, 40-year-old Mark Skidgel, of Perham, was declared dead at the scene.
A preliminary investigation indicates that Skidgel was driving east when his pickup drifted off the roadway, struck a culvert, rolled over and came to rest on its side. Skidgel was not wearing a seatbelt and was partially ejected.
The cause remains under investigation.
