BIDDEFORD — Biddeford High opened a five-goal halftime lead and rolled to a 12-3 victory against Deering in a schoolgirl lacrosse game Thursday.

Mallory Mourmouras and Missy Huot combined for six goals and an assist, and Taylor Turgeon and Cameron McKeown each scored twice for Biddeford (3-1).

Micary Verville had two goals for Deering (1-2).

Emily Boisvert made five saves for the Tigers. Hannah Tuttle stopped 16 shots for the Rams.

MT. ARARAT 13, CONY 6: Ronni Pelletier scored three goals as the Eagles (4-0) beat the Rams (0-2) at Augusta.

Lauren Williams and Alison Nolan each added a pair of goals for Mt. Ararat, which had nine players score.

Becca Coniff had three goals for Cony.

Eleanor Skinner stopped nine shots for the Eagles. Abby Hopkins made seven saves for the Rams.

GORHAM 13, SOUTH PORTLAND 7: Reagan Emerson and McKenzie Collins combined for eight goals and an assist as the Rams (2-1) defeated the Red Riots (2-2) at Gorham.

Marina Pappalardo had three goals and an assist for Gorham. Narissa Libby added a pair of goals.

Amy LaPlante had three goals and Colleen Fleming added five draw controls for South Portland.

Allison Sinnett stopped six shots for the Rams. Lily SanGiovanni made three saves for the Riots.

MASSABESIC 10, MARSHWOOD 9: The Mustangs (3-0) took a 5-4 halftime lead and held off the Hawks (3-1) at South Berwick.

Delia Sylvain led Massabesic with four goals. Maquila DiMastrantonio added three.

Korinne Bohunsky had two goals and two assists, and Hannah Costin added a pair of goals for Marshwood.

Emily Kahl stopped nine shots for the Mustangs.

THORNTON ACADEMY 17, WESTBROOK 1: Amanda Cyr scored four goals and Paige LeBlanc added three to lead the Trojans (1-2) over Westbrook (0-3) at Saco.

Faith Sinclair, Sydnie Picard, Dorina Sirois and Shannon Moskowitz notched two goals each. Madi Mullet scored for the Blue Blazes.

BONNY EAGLE 14, SANFORD 9: Carly Biegel scored three goals to lead the Scots (1-2) past the Spartans (2-2) at Sanford.

Alexis Lambert, Natalie Bushey, Desiree Wright and Hannah Latif each scored twice for Bonny Eagle.

Maddie Leigh led Sanford with six goals. Monica Trausch added three.

Kaitlyn Michaud stopped nine shots for the Scots and Eva Belanger made 11 saves for the Spartans.

MORSE 18, LINCOLN ACADEMY 9: Paige Daigle scored three times and Madison Olsen twice as Morse (2-1) opened the second half with seven straight goals to expand a 9-6 halftime lead over Lincoln Academy (2-2) to 16-6 with 4:50 left at Newcastle.

Sophie Sreden led Morse with seven goals.

CHEVERUS 10, WINDHAM 8: Abby Biegel scored three goals and assisted on two others as the Stags (1-3) defeated Windham (3-1) at Portland.

Nicole Pineau and Anne Veroneau added two goals each for Cheverus. Luisa Sbardella had four goals and one assist for the Eagles.

MESSALONSKEE 13, BRUNSWICK 9: Ally Turner scored five goals as the Eagles (5-0) topped the Dragons (2-3) at Oakland.

India Languet and Nathalie St. Pierre added four goals apiece for Messalonskee. Sydni Collier made eight saves and Gabriela Languet added three for the Eagles.

Anna McMillan and Angelica Boyle scored three goals each for Brunswick.

WINSLOW 8, CAMDEN HILLS 6: Cassidy Roderick scored two goals to lead the Black Raiders (2-1) past Camden Hills (0-4) at Winslow.

Mackenzie Winslow added two goals and two assists for the Black Raiders, and Sarah Stevens and Sabrina Jandreau pitched in with a goal apiece. Harley Fitch stopped 17 shots for Winslow.

BOYS’ LACROSSE

BRUNSWICK 19, CONY 3: Kyle Woodruff scored four goals as the Dragons (5-0) downed Cony (1-4) at Brunswick.

T.J. Sullivan contributed three goals and four assists, and Ian Schlosser had two goals and two assists for Brunswick.

FALMOUTH 16, CHEVERUS 10: Jack Scribner scored five goals and assisted on three others, and Bryce Kuhn had five goals and one assist to lead the Yachtsmen (5-1) past Cheverus (2-3) at Falmouth.

Nicholas Schleh had five goals for the Stags.

SOFTBALL

POLAND 12, FREEPORT 0: Kelsey Deburra went 3 for 5 as the Knights (6-2) shut out the Falcons (0-6) in six innings at Freeport.

Sarah Walton was 2 for 4 with a triple and four RBI, and Michaelia Arsenault added a triple and a single for Poland.

Bailey Karnes doubled for Freeport.

Kolby Woods pitched a one-hitter for the Knights, striking out nine and walking four.

WINDHAM, WESTBROOK SPLIT: Lauren Talbot singled and scored on a groundout, and Katie Hunter’s bunt scored Madison Elliott as Windham (6-1) scored twice in the eighth inning to beat the Blue Blazes (2-6) in the opener at Westbrook.

In the second game, Emma Berry singled twice and scored for the Blue Blazes, who strung together 10 consecutive singles to score seven times in the fourth inning and take an 11-3 lead on the way to an 11-6 victory.

BASEBALL

BONNY EAGLE 6, GORHAM 4: Devin Butler hit a walk-off three-run homer with one out in the seventh inning as the Scots (4-2) came from behind to get a victory over the Rams (2-4) at Standish

Gorham scored a pair of runs in the top of the seventh to take a 4-2 lead, but Bonny Eagle loaded the bases and scored a run on a wild pitch just prior to Butler’s homer.

Butler finished 2 for 4 with three RBI, and Cam Robinson went 2 for 3 with three runs for Bonny Eagle.

Andrew Schmidt had a pair of hits for Gorham.

PORTLAND 8, NOBLE 0: Ryan Ruhlin and Zach Fortin each had two-run singles in a seven-run third inning as the Bulldogs (5-1) shut out the Knights (0-6) at Portland.

Ruhlin scattered three hits and struck out two.

George Chaison-Lapine and John Williams each had a pair of hits, and Patrick Shiels added a double for Portland.

Tyler Merrill doubled for Noble.

WINDHAM 11, SANFORD 3: Dylan Koza had an RBI double in a nine-run fifth inning as the Eagles (2-3) broke open a tight game and beat the Spartans (0-5) at Windham.

Mike Gilman went 3 for 4 with three runs and an RBI for Windham, and Tim Greenlaw and Josh Dugas each added a pair of singles.

Keith Kerrigan had a single and double for Sanford.

Ryan Gorman picked up his first win of the season in relief for the Eagles.

WESTBROOK 8, BIDDEFORD 5: Pat Weimer’s three-run homer to deep center in the eighth inning lifted Westbrook (2-4) over the Tigers (1-5) at Biddeford.

Corey Walker and Bailey Ryan scored ahead of Weimer on the the homer.

FREEPORT 11, POLAND 1: Caleb Rice drove in three runs and Colby Wagner belted a homer to lead Freeport (2-4) to a five-inning victory against the Knights (2-7) at Poland.

Wagner and Ben Humphrey each finished with two RBI and two runs scored for the Falcons.

FOREST HILLS SWEEPS GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN: Matt Turner and Tanner Daigle each improved to 2-0 on the mound as the Tigers (4-1) swept Greater Portland Christian (0-5) at Jackman.

Carson Veilleux had three hits for Forest Hills in a 13-3 victory in the opener, and Forrest Griffin and Brandon Ouellette each had a pair of singles.

Forest Hills won the second game, 14-3.
