On Sunday, May 10, I visited my mother’s final resting place. I came away heartbroken regarding the condition and appearance of the grounds.

The overall stupidity and poor judgment from the town manager, his associates and council members truly show the lack of common business ethics and feelings.

I have deeds from 1964 signed by Adelbert D. Bailey, stating that perpetual care will always exist. The town officials should all be ashamed of themselves. The town’s rainy day fund would more than take care of the situation.

The cemetery is a disgrace and the problem needs to be resolved.

In closing, shame, shame on all of you. Your day of judgment will come.
