Portland has not significantly benefited with two heads, a professional city manager and an elected mayor.

It has been a costly and disappointing process.

Have you ever seen or heard of a two-headed horse winning the Kentucky Derby or the Triple Crown?

Portland must move forward with a unified form of governance consisting of a professional city manager and an elected City Council.

Contact your elected city councilors. Encourage them to commence the process of eliminating the position of elected mayor, with all of its direct and indirect costs.

We can indicate our strength at the polls by refusing to vote for anyone seeking the office of mayor.
