Westbrook voters approved a $34 million school budget Tuesday by a vote of 302-153, with just 3.76 percent of the city’s 12,099 registered voters turning out at the polls.

The budget for the fiscal year starting July 1 represents an increase of $135,000, or 0.4 percent, over current spending.

It will increase Westbrook’s annual property tax bills by $65 per $100,000 valuation, $130 a year for the owner of a home assessed at $200,000.
