Casco’s Kate Hall finished third in the 100 meters Saturday at the New Balance Nationals Outdoor track and field championships in Greensboro, North Carolina, with a personal best of 11.37 seconds.

Jayla Kirkland of Alabama won the event in 11.33. Twanisha Terry of South Carolina was second in 11.34.

The race marks the seventh time Hall has earned All-American honors at the national high school championships. On Sunday, she will compete in the long jump – an event she won at the indoor nationals in March.

Hall, a 2015 graduate of Lake Region High, will attend Iowa State this fall on an athletic scholarship.
