After noting the recent record number of vetoes by our governor, it would appear that he is more interested in behaving like a petulant child than like the top elected official of our state. What a sad commentary on Maine and our electorate!

What I find missing also in this drama is the need for the citizens of Maine to ask him to tell us his priorities. From his behavior, it would appear that he scorns those seeking asylum in Maine; he really does not care about the education of our children; he is in favor of polluting our environment; he wants to place a heavier tax burden on lower-income Mainers; and he generally has scorn for the issues that most of us consider make living in Maine so special.

I can’t help wondering what he will do to us with his uncontrolled temper during the remainder of his term.
