Thornton Academy’s Bailey Tremblay was named Miss Maine Softball on Thursday at the senior East-West all-star game in Augusta.
Tremblay went 14-2 with a 2.01 ERA and 130 strikeouts this season, and also batted .547 with four home runs and 24 RBI. She joins Julia Geaumont (2012) as the only Golden Trojans to win the award, given annually to the top senior player in the state.
Tremblay will play softball at the University of New England next year.
