SCARBOROUGH – Fireworks, parade and more will highlight Fourth of July festivities in Scarborough on Saturday.
A Kid’s Fun Run will be held at 8 a.m. at the fire station in Pine Point, which will be immediately followed by a short parade from Hurd Park. The fun run is open to kids 3-14. For the parade, prizes will be given out for best dressed person, best dressed dog and best decorated wagon.
After the parade there will be free strawberry shortcake offered at the fire station. Then, at 9 p.m., there will be a fireworks show at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway, located at 70 Holmes Road.
