HOLDEN — Authorities say a one-car rollover crash killed one person and injured another in Maine.

It happened shortly before 4 p.m. Tuesday on Copeland Hill Road in Holden.

Police say Margaret Park lost control of her vehicle on a curve and rolled over into a ditch in the woods. The Holden woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The passenger, 53-year-old Phillip Tardiff, of Holden, was injured and taken to Eastern Maine Medical Center.

Police say speed appears to have been a factor in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation.
