The Sea Dogs tied the game in the fifth when Carlos Asuaje lined Portland’s second triple of the game to center field, driving in Jordan Weems and Dustin Lawley.

After the Sea Dogs went ahead 7-5 in the top of the seventh, the SeaWolves pulled within a run in the bottom of inning. Jason Krizan led off with a walk and advanced to second on Mike Augliera’s wild pitch. Dominic Ficociello knocked him home with a single to right.

Augliera picked up the victory out of the bullpen, tossing 2 1/3 innings while allowing one run on two hits with three strikeouts.

Jorge Marban came in to strike out Ficociello to end the threat and pick up his fifth save on the season.
