ALFRED
— Defense Attorney Amy Fairfield says a York County Superior Court
Grand Jury has found Zachary Garrison, 33, of Sanford, not guilty of
sexually assaulting a 16-year old friend of his daughter during a
sleepover at his Sanford home in the spring of 2014.

The jury returned the not guilty verdict this morning after several hours of deliberation that began Wednesday afternoon.
His
legal troubles aren’t over. A York County grand Jury last month handed
up a three-count  indictment  against Garrison, charging gross sexual
assault, unlawful sexual contact and furnishing alcohol to a minor in
connection with alleged offenses that took place July 12 through Aug. 31, 2011 in Waterboro. Look for a complete story in Saturday’s Journal Tribune Weekend.
