Ahmed Mohamed scored his second goal of the game with 12:01 remaining Thursday to give Waynflete a 2-1 victory against Fryeburg Academy in a Western Maine Conference schoolboy soccer game at Fore River Fields.

Mohamed made it 1-0 three minutes into the second half from Jack Weston.

Andrew Malia tied it on a scramble off a corner kick.

Milo Belleau stopped three shots for Waynflete (2-0). Will Zeliff had eight saves for the Raiders (0-2).

CHEVERUS 5, MASSABESIC 0: Brady Levesque had three goals, and Alex Nason and Luc Dionne also scored as the Stags (1-0-2) handled the Mustangs (0-3) at Portland.

Mackenzie Hoglund had two assists and Michael Nason added another.

Jacob Tomkinson and Brandon Nichols combined for five saves for the Stags. Joshua Castonguay made 15 saves for Massabesic.

THORNTON ACADEMY 4, MARSHWOOD 0: Dalton Moore scored twice as the Golden Trojans (2-0-1) rolled past the Hawks (1-1-1) at South Berwick.

Cam Twombly and Chase Pierce also scored.

Sam Leathe stopped three shots for Marshwood.

SANFORD 5, BIDDEFORD 2: Patrick Morris had four goals and an assist as the Spartans (1-1) controlled the Tigers (0-3) at Sanford.

Mason Scully also scored for Sanford.

Geoffrey Ongee had a goal and Cody Saucier scored from Kyle Norton for Biddeford.

Tristan Hout stopped 35 shots for the Tigers. Tylar Burgess had eight saves for the Spartans.

WESTBROOK 3, NOBLE 0: Ahmed Hadi had a pair of goals as the Blue Blazes (2-0-1) shut out the Knights (0-3) at Westbrook.

Jean Marc Lohomboli had the first goal from Brandt Herbert.

Zach White stopped 10 shots for Noble, which had no shots on goal.

FALMOUTH 2, GREELY 0: Olin Rhoads had a pair of goals, both from Schuyler Parkinson, as the Yachtmen (3-0) beat the Rangers (1-2) at Cumberland.

Brandon George made seven saves for Greely. Jesse Melchiskey stopped six shots for Falmouth.

MESSALONSKEE 3, LAWRENCE 0: Ryan McCarthy, Nate Violette and Tommy Fortin scored to lift the Eagles (2-0-1) over Lawrence (0-3) at Oakland.

Dan Turner and Keenan Estes added an assist apiece, and Dylan Jones made two saves for Messalonskee.

Max Marin stopped 17 shots for Lawrence.
