Wade Faria scored an unassisted goal in the first half and Portland went on to a 3-0 victory against Windham in an SMAA schoolboy soccer game Friday at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

Josh Irving added a second-half goal from Erick Molina and Joe Skerritt finished the scoring from Sam Farr.

Alex Wilkins stopped nine shots for Windham (1-2). Bob Brittingham had a pair of saves for Portland (2-0-1).

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 6, CHOP POINT 0: Ethan Spaulding scored a pair of goals in the first six minutes, and finished with three goals and one assist as the Lions (3-0) downed the Blue Bears (0-1) at Woolwich.

Jeremiah Hammond added a goal and an assist, and Killian Patterson and Teddy Lane also scored.

The Lions, who led 3-0 at halftime, also got an assist from Jeremy Daigneault.

WATERVILLE 6, MT. VIEW 1: Michael Oliveira had three goals and an assist to lead the Purple Panthers (2-0-1) past Mt. View (0-3) at Waterville.

Peter Mayhorn added two goals and an assist, and Nathan Pinette also scored. Justin Wentworth, Bridger Holly, Nick Dufour and Ethan Cayer also had an assist, and Jackson Eldridge made eight saves.
