FALMOUTH — Michael Sanzari beat his man on the wing and put the ball into the near corner in the 14th minute as Falmouth edged Waynlfete 1-0 Tuesday in a boys’ soccer game.

Josh Spiegal collected the ball at midfield and sent Sanzari down the wing to set up the play for the Yachtsmen (4-0).

Falmouth goalie Jesse Melchiskey got the shutout with three saves. Milo Belleau made five saves on 12 shots for the Flyers (2-1).

CHEVERUS 1, WESTBROOK 0: Centerback Andrei Vile had a solid defensive game as the Stags (2-0-2) won on an own goal over the Blue Blazes (2-1-1) at Westbrook.

Jake Tomkinson stopped four shots for Cheverus, and DJ Henrikson had a pair of saves for Westbrook.

THORNTON ACADEMY 0, PORTLAND 0: The Golden Trojans (3-0-2) and the Bulldogs (2-0-2) played to a scoreless draw at Fitzpatrick Stadium.

Portland edged Thornton Academy in shots by a 16-13 margin and had a slight edge in corner kicks, 5-4.

Andrew Coleman stopped eight shots for the Trojans, and Bob Brittingham made six saves for the Bulldogs.

NORTH YARMOUTH 4, TRAIP 0: Jeremy Thelven scored a goal in each half for North Yarmouth Academy in a win over Traip (0-5) at Yarmouth.

Tom Pitts and Xander Bartone scored in the first half for the Panthers (3-0). Goaltender Trevor Lachance had four saves.

Justin Boarman had 15 saves for the Rangers.

SOUTH PORTLAND 3, BONNY EAGLE 3: Ryan Moody had three goals for the Scots (1-1-1) as they played to a draw against the Red Riots (2-1-1) at Standish.

David Byrne had an assist on one of Moody’s goals.

Khalid Suja had a pair of goals for South Portland, one on a penalty kick, and his brother, Ahmed, added a goal.

Brady Grass stopped 13 shots for the Scots, Riley Hasson made eight saves for the Riots.

YORK 2, WELLS 1: Alex Nickerson scored both goals for York (2-1-1) as the Wildcats nipped Wells (1-2-1) at York.

Nickerson gave York the lead in the 28th minute off a feed from Spencer Goulette.

Liam Bell tied the match for Wells, assisted by Alec Pinette in the 60th minute.

Nickerson scored the winner eight minutes later, set up by James Peter.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 3, MORSE 0: Alvaro Valls had two goals and assisted on another to lead the Panthers (3-1) over the Shipbuilders (0-3) at Waldoboro.

A.R. GOULD 8, ISLEBORO 4: Mohamed Roone led all scorers with four goals and an assist as the Bears (1-0) cruised past the Eagles (0-3) at Portland.

Kamal Haji-Ali had a pair of goals and an assist for A.R. Gould, and Mouamed Roone and Eric Myers each added a goal.

Finn Gibson was the top scorer for Isleboro with three goals, one off a penalty kick, and Sage Kelley added a goal.

MASSABESIC 4, NOBLE 0: Surafel Zunser scored three goals and assisted on the fourth for Massabesic (1-3-0) in a win over Noble (0-4), at Waterboro.

The Mustangs led 1-0 at the half, after a penalty kick by Zunser in the 34th minute.

Noble keeper Zach White made seven saves. Joshua Castonguay handled four in goal for the Mustangs.

CAPE ELIZABETH 7, POLAND 1: The Capers (3-1) gave up a goal to Poland 1:52 into the contest, then scored seven unanswered goals for a win at Cape Elizabeth.

Kyle Radziszewski scored on a through ball from Tom Flint to give the Knights (1-2) the lead.

James Bottomly scored the tying goal four minutes in and Nicolai Sabatini had the go-ahead goal at 25:01.

Both finished with two goals. Matt Concannon helped out with a goal and three assists.

CAMDEN HILLS 8, MESSALONSKEE 2: Josiah Krul, Josh Pitcairn and Kieran Lydon each scored two goals to power the Windjammers to the KVAC victory in Oakland.

Kyle Crans and Max Pushaw also scored for Camden (5-0-0).

Nate Violette and Dylan Labun scored for Messalonskee (2-2-1) and Dylan Jones had eight saves.

MARANCOOK 9, WATERVILLE 2: Kent Mohlar scored three goals and Sam Wilkinson added two goals to lead the Black Bears (3-0-0) in Readfield.

Chase Wheeler scored a goal for Waterville (2-1-1).

ERSKINE 8, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 0: Trevor Hubbard scored three goals to lead the Eagles to a win over the Phoenix.

Raymond Weymouth scored two goals, and Grayson Petter, Huang Barnett and Luke Peabody each added a goal for Erskine (4-0).
