FALMOUTH — Sydney Bell scored the winning goal with 5:57 remaining in the second overtime Wednesday as Falmouth edged North Yarmouth Academy 3-2 in field hockey.

Kyra Bartolini scored for NYA (3-4) and Kate Kelley scored for Falmouth (4-2) in the first half.

Emma Cohen scored early in the second half for the Panthers before Lisa Smoluk scored for the Yachtsmen on a feed from Bella Libby with 5:11 left in regulation to send the game to overtime.

YARMOUTH 4, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: The Clippers (5-0) used a balanced offense as they topped the Patriots (4-3) at Gray.

Yarmouth received goals from Ally Macleod, Emilie Martin, Nicole McDowell and Abbey McDowell.

Cara Waltz scored for G-NG.

Eve Roth stopped eight shots for the Clippers and Adrianna Kimball had 15 saves for the Patriots.

GREELY 2, TRAIP ACADEMY 0: Sydney Meredith-Pickett set up Charlotte Benoit with 24:31 left in the first half for the first goal of the game as Greely (2-4) upended Traip Academy at Kittery.

Kayla Barry scored an insurance goal with 2:06 remaining in regulation for Greely with an assist from Alyssa Coyne.

Kylie Rogers and Lizzie Brown split time in net for Greely, combining for six saves.

MARSHWOOD 3, NOBLE 0: Taylor Gilbert had a pair of goals with Maya Lapierre assisting on the second as the Hawks (3-2-1) defeated the Knights (0-5) at North Berwick.

Claudia Folger started the scoring for Marshwood.

SANFORD 4, DEERING 0: Marissa Nance had a goal and an assist as the Spartans (4-1-1) shut out the Rams (2-4) at Sanford.

Morgan Champagne had a pair of first-half goals to set the pace for Sanford, with Maya Joy assisting on the first goal and Nance Elizabeth Helmreich combining on the other.

Jessica Buckin closed out the scoring for the Spartans on a setup from Kyleigh Cote.

Lillian Frager had 13 saves for Deering, Amber Singleton stopped six shots for Sanford.

WESTBROOK 4, WINDHAM 0: Delaney Derrig had three goals and an assist as the Blue Blazes (3-2) cruised by the Eagles (0-5) at Westbrook.

St. Clair, Lindsey Hildreth and Olivia Grosso had assists for Westbrook.

MASSABESIC 7, BIDDEFORD 0: The Mustangs got goals from five players in beating the Tigers at Waterboro.

Logan Champlin led the offense for Massabesic (4-2) with two goals and a pair of assists, Emma Rutledge had a pair of goals and Emma Desrochers, Kaylee St. Laurent and Maggie Redman each added a goal, with Redman tossing in an assist.

Taylor Wildes stopped 20 of the 27 shots for Biddeford (2-3), and Kelly Wescott and Mady Pomerleau split time in net for the Mustangs, combining for five saves.

BONNY EAGLE 1, SOUTH PORTLAND 0: Lexi Galdo scored unassisted off a scramble with 32 seconds remaining in the first half, and the Scots (2-3) held off the Red Riots (1-4) at South Portland.

Ashlyn Wintle stopped four shots for the win, and Abbie Jellison finished with nine saves for the Red Riots.

VINALHAVEN 4, GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 0: Deja Doughty had a pair of goals to lead the way as the host Vikings (2-1) shut out the Lions (1-3) at Vinalhaven.

Hannah Newton and Hannah Noyes added goals for Vinalhaven.

Clarette Kirezi had nine saves for Greater Portland and Gilleyanne Davis-Oakes stopped 16 shots for the Vikings.

WINDHAM 2, MARSHWOOD 0: Meghan Hoffses scored the lone goal in the first half on a feed from Maggie Symonds and the Eagles made it stand as they defeated the Hawks at South Berwick.

Ciera Berthiaume scored an insurance goal for Windham (5-0) in the second half on an assist from Caitlyn Winn.

Sadie Nelson made 11 saves for Marshwood (3-1), and Emily Robida needed only to make a pair of saves for the Eagles.

SOUTH PORTLAND 1, BONNY EAGLE 0: Juliana Setser and Megan Graff set up Callie O’Brien in the 21st minute as the Red Riots (1-3) edged the Scots (2-2) at South Portland.

Sydney Gillingham stopped nine shots for Bonny Eagle, and Zoe Brown made four saves for South Portland.

GREELY 3, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1: Izzy Hutnak had a pair of goals to lead the way for the Rangers (4-0) as they edged the Patriots (2-2) at Gray.

LAKE REGION 2, KENNEBUNK 1: Kristen Huntress broke away over the top and put in the eventual winner with 31:45 left in the second half as the Lakers (1-3) defeated the Rams (1-2-1) at Naples.

Caitlin Wolfe gave Kennebunk the early lead with an unassisted goal in the first half, but Huntress countered with her first of the game from the right side over the keeper with 5:00 left in the half.

Kyra Schwartzman had four saves for the Rams, Chandler True stopped nine shots for the Lakers.

THORNTON ACADEMY 3, PORTLAND 0: Cassidy Cochrane led all scorers with a goal and an assist as the Golden Trojans (3-1) handled the Bulldogs (2-5) at Saco.

Cochrane started the scoring for Thornton Academy with 29:19 left in the first half on a through ball inside the 6-yard line, and set up Adia Boudoin 3:09 later for a 2-0 lead at halftime.

Faith Sinclair rounded out the scoring for the Trojans with an unassisted goal with 9:05 left in the second half.

Taylor Crosby stopped eight shots for Portland, Lexi Nason had four saves for TA.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 3, VINALHAVEN/NORTH HAVEN 2: Jeremiah Hammon had a pair of goals and an assist as the Lions (4-0) outlasted the Vikings (0-3) at Vinalhaven.

Jeremy Daignault and Killian Patterson contributed assists on Hammon’s goals and Hammon set up Ethan Spaulding on the deciding goal.

GREELY 3, KENNEBUNK 0: Kayley Cimino had three aces, six kills and 11 set assists as the visiting Rangers (3-2) swept the Rams (0-5), 25-10, 25-14, 25-15.

Brinna Snow had five aces and two kills, Molly Chapin had three aces and three kills and Sara Agren finished with two aces and four kills for Greely.
