CAPE ELIZABETH — Mariah Deschino scored on a penalty kick in the first half and Cape Elizabeth went on to a 1-0 victory against Falmouth in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl soccer game Friday night.

Tessa Goldstein had a pair of saves to protect the shutout for the Capers (4-1) against the Yachtsmen (3-2).

TRAIP ACADEMY 6, PINE TREE ACADEMY 0: Blanca Alonso scored two goals and Traip Academy (5-1) held the Breakers (1-3) without a shot on goal at Freeport.

Emma Auclair had a goal and two assists, and Isabelle Woollocott had a goal and an assist. Talia Dennis and Sommer Huntress also scored.

CHEVERUS 7, NOBLE 1: Six players scored for the Stags (2-2-1) against the Knights (0-5) at Portland.

Mackenzie Johnston had two goals, Kaylin Malmquist and Margaret Keating added a goal and an assist, and Katie Gordon, Meredith Cilley and Kate Sess-ler also scored.

Samantha Couture had a first-half goal for Noble.

Hannah Tyson stopped five shots for Cheverus. Brenna Frye had 10 saves for the Knights.

BIDDEFORD 5, MCAULEY 1: Missy Huot scored twice as Biddeford (1-4) downed the Lions (0-5) at Portland.

Maddy Cantara, Emily Dubois and Olivia Paquette also scored for the Tigers. Zoe Mazur answered for McAuley.

Camryn McKeown made six saves for Biddeford. Jordyn Carr had nine saves for McAuley.

GORHAM 4, BONNY EAGLE 0: Hallie Shiers scored a pair of first-half goals to stake the Rams (4-1) to a 2-0 halftime lead against the Scots (2-3) at Gorham.

Cady Houghton added both second-half goals. Lindsey Sullivan had an assist in each half.

Sydney Gillingham stopped 20 shots for Bonny Eagle. Emma Smith had six saves for the Rams.

BRUNSWICK 3, OXFORD HILLS 0: Maeve Arthur scored twice and Charlotte MacMillan once to carry the Dragons (5-1) over Oxford Hills (0-6) at Brunswick.

Beth Labbe recorded three saves for the shutout. Sam Bickford blocked nine shots for the Vikings.

GREELY 4, KENNEBUNK 1: Elena Kropp, Jocelyn Mitiguy and Ellie Schad scored second-half goals to pull the Rangers (5-0) away from a 1-1 halftime tie against Kennebunk (1-3-1) at Cumberland.

MASSABESIC 2, WESTBROOK 0: Keilly Lynch scored twice on counterattacks as Massabesic (1-3) took advantage of a pressing offense by the Blue Blazes (1-3-1) at Westbrook.

Lynch opened the scoring after two minutes, ticking a long shot off the upright and into the far post. Lynch added a second-half goal.

Julia Blackington needed 15 saves for the shutout. Kelsey Cavanaugh had three saves for Westbrook.

YORK 2, YARMOUTH 1: Sierra Swasey scored on a penalty kick after 1:30 and Payton Humphrey added a goal with 13:45 remaining as the Wildcats (4-0-1) edged the Clippers (2-3) at York.

Eavan O’Neill answered from Sara D’Appolonia just 20 seconds later for Yarmouth to cut it to 2-1.

Lydia Guay stopped 15 shots for the Wildcats. Kelsey Cole finished with 10 saves for the Clippers.

KENNEBUNK 4, GREELY 2: Charlie Miller scored an unassisted goal, then set up Alec Barry as the Rams (3-1-1) took a 2-0 lead early in the second half and held off the Rangers (2-2-1) at Kennebunk.

Hunter Graham answered with an unassisted goal for Greely before Bo Beveridge scored twice to make it 4-1.

Jacob Mason added a late goal for the Rangers.

Sean Berry stopped five shots for Kennebunk. Brandon George had seven saves for Greely.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 0, RANGELEY 0: Mason Jones made seven saves for Greater Portland Christian (4-0-1) and Tim White had five for the Lakers (1-2-1) at Rangeley.

MARSHWOOD 3, GORHAM 0: Mallory Nadeau and Leah Glidden scored a pair of goals within 1:36 in the second half as the Hawks (4-2) downed the Rams (2-5) at Gorham.

Nadeau broke the scoreless tie with 22:52 left. Glidden added an unassisted goal, and Malorie Dube made it 3-0 seven minutes later.

Nicole Walls stopped seven shots for Gorham.

SCARBOROUGH 4, WINDHAM 3: Grace Bailer scored on a rebound in sudden death as Scarborough (5-1) downed the Eagles (0-5) at Windham.

Lily Nygren scored the other three goals for the Red Storm. Paige LaFerriere scored twice and Julia Libby once for Windham.

BONNY EAGLE 2, PORTLAND 1: Cheyanne Glantz’s goal with 5:38 left broke a 1-1 tie as the Scots (3-3) slipped past Portland (3-4) at Standish.

Catherine Biegel had taken a shot off a corner that Megan McIntosh deflected to Glantz for a low shot.

Maddy Corbett also scored for Bonny Eagle. Taylor Sargent converted Lauren McIntyre’s assist for Portland’s goal.

Ashlyn Wintle blocked 11 shots for Bonny Eagle. Gianna Gaudet had 20 saves for the Bulldogs.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 6, OLD ORCHARD BEACH 0: Amber Rose and MacKenzie Sangster each had two goals and two assists as the Panthers (4-4) shut out the Seagulls (1-4) at Old Orchard Beach.

Kierstan Marr and Emma Cohen also scored.

YARMOUTH 3, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2: Abby McDowell scored twice as the Clippers (6-0) used three second-half goals to transform a 1-0 halftime deficit into a 3-1 lead over Fryeburg Academy (5-2) at Yarmouth.

Alexis Charles scored for the Raiders in the first half before McDowell and Emily Martin scored for Yarmouth in the second.

Nicole Thurston pulled Fryeburg within 3-2 with 1:36 left.

Tori Messina made six saves for Yarmouth. Bridget Fahey had eight saves for Fryeburg.

WESTBROOK 4, SOUTH PORTLAND 2: Delaney Derrig had two goals and two assists for the Blue Blazes (4-2), who scored four consecutive goals and held off the Red Riots (1-5) at Westbrook.

Derrig started the scoring with an unassisted goal, then set up goals by Danielle Breunig and Abby St. Clair as Westbrook led 3-0 at halftime.

Derrig scored her second of the game early in the second half, assisted by St. Clair.

Sophia Cummings and Bonge Lako scored in the final minutes for South Portland.

THORNTON ACADEMY 5, BIDDEFORD 1: Cat Henaire, Emma Dutremble and Libby Pomerleau scored in the final 12 minutes as the Trojans (5-1) pulled away from the Tigers (2-4) at Biddeford.

The Trojans opened a 2-0 halftime lead on goals by Dutremble and Claire Decker. Taylor Turgeon’s goal pulled Biddeford within 2-1.

CHEVERUS 5, NOBLE 0: Sophia Pompeo had two goals and an assist as the Stags (7-0) downed the Knights (0-7) at Portland.

Becca Archer had a pair of goals, Caroline Baker added a goal, and Charlotte Noyes and Abby Ford had assists.

Marcie LaRiccia stopped 16 shots for Noble. Diedre Sanborn and Kat Kane combined for four saves for Cheverus.
