She was born in Biddeford, one of 21 children of Desire and Eva Royer Binette, and was educated in Biddeford schools.
On Nov. 30, 1946, she married Leo Paul Eon in St. Joseph Church. He died on March 15, 1976.
Mrs. Eon was a homemaker. She loved decorating and maintaining her home. She enjoyed gardening and taking special pride in her yard work. She also enjoyed playing the piano, the guitar, and the company of her sister, Antoinette.
She worked over 20 years with the Sisters at the Bay View Convent in Saco, retiring on Feb. 1, 1994.
She is preceded in death by: her son, Normand P. Eon, on July 11, 1972.
She is survived by: a daughter, Nancy Ouellette and her husband Philip of Biddeford; two sons, Donald G. Eon and his wife Joanne of Biddeford, and John M. Eon and his wife Martine of Biddeford; six grandchildren, Jennifer, Brianna, Victoria, Alexander, Brian, and Gary; six great-grandchildren, Ashley, Danielle, Ryan, Brielle, Callyn, and Caleb; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at Hope Memorial Chapel, 480 Elm St., Biddeford, followed by a funeral service at noon. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
