Larry Hersh of Nashua, N.H. submitted this photo of a message in a bottle he found while vacationing in Kennebunk. He said that he and his wife were walking on Parsons Beach at sunrise, and found this bottle with a message inside that had washed up at high tide. The note signed by Anna, 7, of Toronto, Canada, and dated from earlier in August, says she visited Kennebunk to spend time with family and friends.
