The Biddeford+Saco ArtWalk will take place on Sept. 25 from 5-8 p.m. in downtown Biddeford and Saco. The cost of this event is free. The public can visit local establishments, galleries, and open studios during art walk every last Friday of the month from April to October. For more information,email [email protected]

The art exhibit “Russian Children’s Art” will reopen Friday, Sept. 25, at its new location in the hallway outside the Four Corners Frame Shop at the North Dam Mill, 2 Main St., Building 18, Suite 203 in Biddeford. This opening will be part of the next Biddeford+Saco ArtWalk from 5-8 p.m. People are welcome to bid on the original paintings, as well as purchase smaller size prints. All proceeds will be used to help train Russians to take better care of their own people with a wide range of disabilities and special needs. The show will continue through Friday, Oct. 23 and can be seen during the hours the North Dam Mill is open.

AUDITIONS

The Ogunquit Playhouse is holding auditions for the upcoming production of Irving Berlin’s “White Christmas.” Auditions will take place on Sunday, Oct. 4 from 12-4 p.m. at The Music Hall, located at 28 Chestnut St. in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. Rehearsals begin on Monday, Nov. 23. Participants must prepare a short traditional musical theater song, in their key, and bring sheet music. An accompanist will be provided. Performers may bring a picture with a résumé stapled to the back. Actors must be available for rehearsal period and to perform in all shows during the run. “White Christmas” runs from Dec. 9-20. Sanford Maine Stage Theatre is looking to fill two male parts in their upcoming murder mystery dinner show on Nov. 7. The show will be held at Nasson Little Theatre in Springvale. The City Theater in Biddeford is holding auditions for “The Best Christmas Pageant Ever.” The show will be casting 10 adults and 17 children in this Christmas classic.
