H.R. 3504, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act, was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives on Sept. 18. The act mandates that babies born alive, even during the abortion process, should receive medical help and not be killed.
You should know that 1st District Rep. Chellie Pingree and 176 other Democrats voted against this law. They voted to let babies who are born alive during the abortion process die and not receive medical attention.
Never forget that your vote counts and that you need to check the voting records of the candidates before blindly voting for anyone.
I do not believe that Pingree’s vote to let babies born alive die is representative of the values the people of Maine hold. I am ashamed that this person represents me in Congress.
