CAPE ELIZABETH – On Saturday, Oct. 3, at 8 a.m., Chris Franklin, executive director of the Cape Elizabeth Land Trust, will lead a seven-mile, cross-town walk.
The goal of the event is to offer participants an overview of various ecosystems, including Spurwink Marsh, Robinson Woods and Great Pond.
Meet at the dirt parking lot closest to the Portland Head Light in Fort Williams Park. Event also includes a picnic lunch at Kettle Cove. The cost is $10 per person. Register online at www.capecommunityservices.org or call 767-6054 for more information.
