I am writing in support of Ron Michaud’s candidacy for mayor of Saco.
I have known Ron for many years and have always been impressed with the keen interest and attention he has given to city issues. Ron is a highly principled, experienced and thoughtful leader. He has the ability to examine and understand all sides of an issue before taking a position and he is always respectful and welcoming to those with differing opinions.
He has a track record of proven leadership, which will serve the city well as the new city administrator and possibly several new councilors assume their duties. Ron will conduct council meetings in a professional and competent manner and he will always take the time to listen to concerns and respond to questions with accurate information.
Ron will move the city forward, while at the same time preserving its character and rich history.
