Olivia Ridley and Morgan Carpenter scored first-half goals Wednesday and undefeated Sacopee Valley went on to a 2-0 victory against Waynflete in a Western Maine Conference schoolgirl soccer game at Fore River Fields.

Ridley scored after 20 minutes from Courtney Ryan and Carpenter added an unassisted goal three minutes before the half for the Hawks (12-0).

Ali Pope finished with eight saves for the Flyers (8-4). Hannah Manchester turned away four shots for the shutout.

WESTBROOK 4, MCAULEY 1: Janessa Corbett scored three goals and Julie Martel had another to lead Westbrook (2-9-1) over McAuley (0-11) at Portland.

Nyagoa Bayak had eight saves for Westbrook.

Claire Reid scored for McAuley.

BONNY EAGLE 4, NOBLE 1: Desiree Wright scored from Madi Freeman in the first half and Bonny Eagle (6-5-1) added three goals in the second to defeat Noble (1-11) at Standish.

Nell Spencer, Keelin Sweeney and Hailey Ball scored in the second half.

Kirsten Schussler spoiled the shutout with four minutes left.

Brenna Frye compiled 25 saves for Noble. Sydney Dillingham stopped eight shots for the Scots.

PORTLAND 1, BIDDEFORD 0: Chessa Hoesktra scored from the top of the 18-yard box with one minute left in the first overtime to lift the Bulldogs (7-5) over the Tigers (3-9) at Portland.

SOUTH PORTLAND 1, MASSABESIC 0: Juliana Selser set up Meghan Graff for a score from the edge of the penalty box with four minutes to go in the first half as the Red Riots (5-7) beat the Mustangs (3-9) at South Portland.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 5, MCAULEY-WAYNFLETE 1: Five players scored for the Panthers (10-4) against McAuley-Waynflete (1-13) at Yarmouth.

Senior Callie Sturgeon scored her first varsity goal, and MacKenzie Sangster, Emma Cohen, Amber Rose and Kiertsen Marr added goals for NYA. Molly Barr scored for McAuley-Waynflete.

BOOTHBAY REGION 3, TELSTAR 2: Page Brown and Sydney Meader scored in the first half and Nicole Clark added another five minutes into the second as the Seahawks (7-7) beat Telstar (3-11) at Boothbay Harbor.

FALMOUTH 6, CAPE ELIZABETH 0: Bella Libby scored twice as the Yachstmen (9-5) shut out Cape Elizabeth (0-14) at Falmouth.

Lisa Smoluk, Devon Sarazin, Kate Kelly and Maddie Rouhana also scored for the Yachtsmen, who led 4-0 at halftime.

WESTBROOK 1, GORHAM 0: Alisha Aube scored with 12:26 remaining from a direct shot off a corner play as the Blue Blazes (7-7) secured a postseason berth by beating the Rams (4-9-1) at Gorham.

Nicole Walls had 11 saves for Gorham. Kimmy Goddard of Westbrook stopped three shots.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2, SACOPEE VALLEY 0: Bridget Tweedie scored late in the first half and Nicole Thurston in the second as Fryeburg Academy (11-3) downed Sacopee Valley (8-6) at South Hiram.

Bridget Fahey recorded three saves in the shutout. McKenzie Cormier handled 20 shots for Sacopee.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 1, LAKE REGION 0: Adrianna Kimball made 16 saves as the Patriots (7-7) shut out Lake Region (9-5) at Gray.

Maddie Nelson had two stops for the Lakers, who dominated play for most of the game.

MASSABESIC 4, SOUTH PORTLAND 2: Emma Rutledge scored two goals to lead Massabesic (11-3) over South Portland (2-12) at Waterboro.

Rutledge started the scoring midway through the first half. Clera Mullen answered seven minutes later. The Mustangs scored three straight in the second half, from Logan Champlin, Jackie Bearse and Rutledge. Sophia Cumming of the Riots scored on a breakaway with 1:43 left.

VOLLEYBALL

SOUTH PORTLAND 3, WELLS 0: The Red Riots won 25-11, 25-18, 25-18 to defeat the Warriors at South Portland.

Molly Mawhinney had seven kills, five aces and seven digs, and Amanda Bouchard finished with seven aces and five digs for the Red Riots.

WINDHAM 3, BONNY EAGLE 1: Jamie Jannarone served up 11 aces with four kills and nine digs to lead Windham over Bonny Eagle (8-4) at Standish.

Cassie Fleck added five aces, six kills and one block for the Eagles, who won 25-15, 25-12 and 25-23.

The Scots took the second set, 25-21.
