SOUTH BERWICK — Marshwood scored a pair of second-half goals Thursday to rally to a 2-1 victory against Bonny Eagle in an SMAA schoolboy soccer game.

After David Byrne scored to give Bonny Eagle (2-8-2) a 1-0 halftime lead, Lyle Carlson tied it with 17 minutes remaining and assisted on Jason Janetos’ goal 16 seconds later.

Brady Grass stopped seven shots for the Scots. Sam Leathe had three saves for Marshwood (6-4-3)

FREEPORT 3, POLAND 0: Caiden Shea scored on a nifty feed from Josh Spaulding and Bryce Schmidt added an unassisted goal as the Falcons (4-7-1) took a 2-0 halftime lead and downed the Knights (3-9-1) at Freeport.

Eriksen Shea scored in the second half from Yacob Olins.

Trevor Saunders stopped 10 shots for Poland.

Joey Burke needed one save for the shutout.

SCARBOROUGH 4, MASSABESIC 0: Jacob McGarvey scored from Matt Caron to give the Red Storm (11-0-2) a 1-0 halftime lead against the Mustangs (2-11) at Scarborough.

Jarred Greenleaf, Michael Barrett and Jacob Kacer added second-half goals.

Josh Castonguay had nine saves for Massabesic. Cam Nigro blocked a pair of shots for the Red Storm.

SANFORD 1, PORTLAND 1: After El-Shadai Ngandu scored from Sam Madrid-Brenis 15:42 into the game for the Bulldogs (5-7-1), Patrick Morris tied it for Sanford (5-7-1) 10 minutes into the second half at Portland.

Tylar Burgess had 10 saves for the Spartans. Bob Brittingham stopped six shots for Portland.

SACOPEE VALLEY 4, LAKE REGION 0: Devin Day scored three goals for the Hawks (6-6-1) against the Lakers (0-13) at South Hiram.

Eli Moulton also scored and Will Goforth had three assists.

Matt Stenger had 12 saves for Lake Region. Cam Cyr and Matt Day combined for four saves for the Hawks.

GORHAM 7, NOBLE 1: Cody Elliott scored twice as the Rams (11-1-1) handled the Knights (0-12-1) at Gorham.

Kyle King had a goal and a pair of assists, and Jackson Fotter added three assists as Gorham got goals from six scorers.

Jake Martel scored for Noble from Aiden Fitchett.

Zach White stopped eight shots for the Knights.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 2, YORK 2: After Nick Landano scored twice in the first 23 minutes for Fryeburg Academy (5-6-2), Alex Nickerson countered late in the first half for the Wildcats (4-6-2) and Ryan Webb tied it with 13 minutes remaining at York.

NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 3, WELLS 1: The Panthers (9-4) scored a pair of unanswered goals to pull away from the Warriors (5-6-2) at Wells.

Thomas Pitts of NYA scored the first goal from Michael Pitts and Liam Bell answered with an unassisted goal at 12:32.

Joe Strabley put NYA ahead at 49:58 from Bobby Murray, and Murray added a goal on a penalty kick.

Natalie Herbold and Zoe Janetos each added a pair of goals.

DEERING 1, CHEVERUS 0: Simone Lauture scored at 1:17 of overtime as Deering (8-4-1) beat the visiting Stags (4-7-2) at Portland.

The Rams sent the ball deep into the box. Lauture gained possession in the scramble, pulled the ball back to the middle and fired in the winning shot.

Cassidy Coyne had three saves for Deering. Hannah Tyson made six for Cheverus.

YORK 1, FRYEBURG ACADEMY 0: Halee Bando scored in the final minute of the first half as the Wildcats (7-2-3) edged the Raiders (6-5-1) at Fryeburg.

Bando took a perfect through ball from Madigan Cogger.

BRUNSWICK 2, EDWARD LITTLE 0: Maeve Arthur had a goal and an assist for the Dragons (10-2-1) against the Red Eddies (5-5-3) at Auburn.

LINCOLN ACADEMY 2, MARANACOOK 1: Brie Wajer set up the first goal, then had the winner as the Eagles (9-4) edged Maranacook (2-8-3) at Newcastle.

CAPE ELIZABETH 5, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 0: Sarah O’Conner, Kate Breed, Montana Braxton, Tori Diaz and Mariah Deschino scored as the Capers (8-4) shut out the Patriots (5-6-1) at Cape Elizabeth.

YARMOUTH 3, CONY 0: Kenzie Sheehan hit nine aces and Cat Thompson seven to give the Clippers (10-3) victory against Cony (3-10) at Yarmouth with scores of 25-14, 25-9 and 25-6.

Noelle Yunker had eight assists for Yarmouth.

DEERING 3, WELLS 1: Delaney Donovan served five aces and Kaylee Helmick slammed three kills to lead the Rams (7-7) in a 25-16, 21-25, 25-13, 25-21 victory against Wells (3-11) at Portland.

Avery Donovan added four blocks for Deering. Halee Ramsdell had 12 kills for the Warriors.

FALMOUTH 3, SCARBOROUGH 2: Madi Tait had 36 digs for the Yachtsmen (10-4), who took the last two games to beat the Red Storm (8-5) at Falmouth.

Lydia Farmer and Julia Treadwell combined for 22 kills as Falmouth won the first game, 25-23. Scarborough took the next two games, 25-17 and 25-16, before the Yachtsmen rallied to sweep the final two, 25-16 and 15-13.

BONNY EAGLE 3, NORTH YARMOUTH ACADEMY 0: Reserve Whitney Regan served out the winning point in a 34-32 second-game win. The Scots (9-4) sandwiched that game with a pair of 25-17 wins for a straight-set victory against the Panthers (8-6) at Standish.

Amber Randall had eight digs from the back row, Sam Morash added four kills, an ace and two digs, and Kate Champagne had seven blocks, four aces and five kills for Bonny Eagle.
