As Portland wrestles with dramatic growth and change, we need City Council members who possess the skills, the temperament and the energy to move our city forward.
District 1 today represents Portland’s greatest challenges and opportunities. I strongly recommend Sean Kerwin as city councilor for District 1.
I first met Sean when he was a graduate student in the Community Planning and Development Program at the University of Southern Maine’s Muskie School, where he enrolled while also attending the University of Maine School of Law. I know Sean to be an effective, can-do person who understands the larger context of the complex issues we face.
The knowledge and experience Sean will bring to this challenge give me confidence he is the best candidate to tackle the work that lies ahead for District 1 and the city. Please join me in voting Nov. 3 for Sean Kerwin, for the District 1 council seat.
