LISBON FALLS — Lisbon High put on a clinic in ball control Saturday on its way to a 30-13 victory against Maranacook in a Class D South game.

Lisbon (4-2) went 6 for 6 on fourth-down conversions and held a commanding edge in time of possession (31:35-16:07) and offensive plays (66-36).

Tyler Halls of the Greyhounds completed 8 of 12 passes for 68 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Tyrese Joseph. He added 42 yards rushing on nine carries.

Zach Lacasse totaled 129 yards on 13 carries for the Black Bears (4-2), who were limited to 187 yards.

FRYEBURG ACADEMY 40, GORHAM 14: Ryan Gullikson threw three touchdown passes and rushed for three scores as the Raiders (4-3) beat the Rams (0-7) at Fryeburg.

Fryeburg took a 26-0 first-quarter lead on runs of 11, 62 and 6 yards by Gullikson and a 41-yard pass to Oscar Saunders.

Gorham got its touchdowns in the fourth quarter on runs of 28 and 11 yards by Adam McKenney.

WESTBROOK 34, MORSE 0: Zack Hutchins rushed for 164 yards and a pair of touchdowns on 11 carries and also sacked the quarterback in the end zone to lead the Blue Blazes (4-3) over the Shipbuilders (2-5) at Westbrook.

Westbrook led 12-0 at halftime behind touchdown runs from Hutchins and Bailey Sawyer.

The Blue Blazes added 16 points in the third quarter on Hutchins’ 89-yard run, a safety and a 34-yard run by Miece Loureiro.

MEDOMAK VALLEY 22, ELLSWORTH/SUMNER 16: Cole Ashmore rushed 35 times for 203 yards and three touchdowns to lead Medomak Valley (6-1) over Ellsworth/Sumner (4-3) at Waldoboro.

Medomak led 22-8 with just over a minute to play, but Wally Moon caught a 30-yard touchdown pass with 45 seconds left and Ellsworth added the 2-point conversion to make it 22-16. Ellsworth then recovered an onside kick and drove into the red zone before a forced fumble and recovery by Zach Rollins clinched it.

LAWRENCE 41, NOKOMIS 20: After four losses to open the season, Lawrence (3-4) won its third straight by beating Nokomis (0-7) at Newport.

The victory set up an intriguing showdown at rival Messalonskee in the regular-season finale Friday night, with the winner likely securing a Class B North playoff berth.
