The commentary “When women are the deciders, many Republicans object” (Oct. 4) made so many sound points.
Many Republicans seem to be pro-life until the baby is born, then women are on their own.
Childhood poverty is growing in America. We see this before our eyes right here in Maine.
I look forward to Cynthia Dill’s columns and hope they continue to raise our awareness.
