CLINTON, N.Y. — Jabari Hurdle-Price rushed for 107 yards, Gabe Harrington rushed for one touchdown and threw for another, and Colby College cruised to its first win of the season on Saturday, 24-19 over Hamilton.

The Mules (1-4) led 17-0 by the third quarter and put together a balanced offensive game, rushing for 176 yards and getting 154 passing yards from Harrington and Christian Sparacio, who shared quarterback duties.

Harrington’s 10-yard touchdown run and John Baron’s 34-yard field goal gave Colby a 10-0 lead in the first quarter.

Carl Lipani ran in from 7 yards out in the third to extend the lead before Hamilton (0-5) got on the board with a 59-yard pass from Cole Freeman to Charles Ensley.

Harrington hit Mark Snyder with a 16-yard scoring pass with 4:18 left in the third to regain the 17-point lead.

MIDDLEBURY 41, BATES 27: Matt Milano threw for five touchdowns and 405 yards as Middlebury (4-1) defeated the Bobcats (0-5) at Lewiston.

The Panthers overcame a 10-7 deficit after one quarter to build leads of 28-13 and 35-20. Bates, behind a pair of TD passes from Patrick Dugan, twice closed within one score in the fourth quarter, but Middlebury backup quarterback Jared Lebowitz iced the win with a 40-yard touchdown run on a read-option play with 3:38 left in the game.

Dugan finished 19 of 32 for 217 yards.

Frank Williams was the Bobcats’ leading rusher with 55 yards and a touchdown on nine carries, and Grant DeWald kicked two field goals for Bates.

TRINITY 28, BOWDOIN 7: Max Chipouras scored on runs of 24, 6 and 28 yards as the Bantams (5-0) ran over Bowdoin (1-4) at Hartford, Connecticut.

Chipouras finished with 155 yards on 18 carries. Nick Gaynor added 32 yards and a touchdown run as Trinity outrushed the Polar Bears, 239-63.

Bowdoin averted the shut out with a 37-yard TD pass from Noah Nelson to Bryan Porter with 1:25 left in the game.

HUSSON 54, GALLAUDET 8: John Smith had 135 yards and three touchdowns on 18 carries for as the Eagles (5-1, 4-0 Eastern Collegiate Football Conference) took care of the Bison (0-6, 0-4) at Washington.

Joe Seccareccia was 7 for 11 for 98 yards passing and threw for three touchdowns – two to Robenson Saintard, as Husson rolled up 392 yards of offense.

The defense was solid as well, forcing two Gallaudet fumbles and holding the Bison to 117 yards.

ENDICOTT 37, MAINE MARITIME 14: The Gulls used a 17-point second quarter to pull away from the Mariners in a New England Football Conference game at Beverly, Massachusetts.

Endicott (3-4, 3-1) jumped on the board quickly as Lawrence Gonzalez picked off a Michael Fahey pass on Maine Maritime’s first possession and returned it 45 yards for a touchdown.

The Mariners (1-5, 0-4) answered two possessions later when Fahey plunged in from 3 yards out on a quarterback keeper as the teams ended the first quarter tied at 7-7.

But the Gulls made most of their second-quarter chances, scoring on all three possesions to take a 24-7 lead.

Maine Maritime had 350 yards of offense, 283 on the ground. James Ferrar was the leading rusher with 25 carries for 144 yards.
