YARMOUTH — Chase Collier scored her second goal of the game late in the second overtime Saturday to lift eighth-ranked Lisbon to a 2-1 victory against fifth-seeded North Yarmouth Academy in a Class C South field hockey semifinal.

The Greyhounds (7-9) will meet third-ranked Oak Hill (11-5) in the final Tuesday at Fitzpatrick Stadium in Portland.

Collier eluded several defenders and broke into the circle alone, beating the goalie to the right corner.

Collier also scored in the first half but NYA (11-5) tied it in the second with Emma Cohen connecting off a corner from Kiersten Marr.

Mikaylia Harnden, in a match played between the 25s, had one save for the Greyhounds. Bairu Chen stopped two shots for NYA.


YARMOUTH 40, FREEPORT 14: John Thoma was 4-of-8 passing with a pair of touchdowns, including a 36-yard toss to Jonathan Snyder, as the Clippers (8-0) rolled past the Falcons (0-8) at Freeport.

Cody Cook had five carries for 102 yards and started the scoring for Yarmouth with a 63-yard scamper in the first quarter.


GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3, LINCOLN ACADEMY 2: Nick Brindley had the deciding goal in the second round of penalty kicks as the fifth-seeded Patriots (9-5-1) survived the 12th-ranked Eagles (6-9) in a Class B South prelim at Gray.

Gray-New Gloucester will be at fourth-seeded Mountain Valley (12-2) in the quarterfinals Wednesday.

SOUTH PORTLAND 8, KENNEBUNK 1: Kervens Anthoine scored four goals as the sixth-seeded Red Riots (8-3-4) handled the 11th-ranked Rams (4-10-1) in a Class A South prelim at South Portland.

Ahmed Suja added a pair of goals and an assist, and Liam Coyne and Khalid Suja also scored for South Portland. Spencer Thibodeau answered for Kennebunk.

YORK 3, LEAVITT 0: James Peter had two goals and Ryan Webb also scored as the sixth-seeded Wildcats (6-7-2) handled the 11th-ranked Hornets (4-9-2) in a Class B South prelim at York.
