I cannot believe the story “Confessions of a serial car thief” was more important than all the others on the front page of the Oct. 18 Maine Sunday Telegram.
Why would we provide this unrepentant self-described “thief” a platform to continue smirking and laughing about his auto theft crime spree, which he reflects on as “funny”? This only enables and perpetuates his illness. We do neither him nor society any service by giving such a story prominent placement.
