SOUTH PORTLAND — One incumbent and two newcomers were elected to the City Council and School Board Tuesday night.
Incumbent Mayor Linda Cohen beat newcomer Andrew Snyder for the District 4 City Council seat, 2,785 to 1,127.
In District 3, newcomer Eben Rose was elected as councilor over Ernest L. Stanhope, Jr., 2,476 to 1,500.
Libby Reynolds narrowly defeated Matt Perkins for the District 4 Board of Education seat, 1,898 to 1,637.
Of South Portland’s 18,514 registered voters, 4,248 cast ballots.
