Interactive maps of Portland's local election results

Though the citywide results were decisive, there were some differences in opinion among the city's neighborhoods.

On November 3rd, Portland voters overwhelmingly elected Ethan Strimling to be the city's next mayor and rejected two ballot referenda – one that would have raised the city's minimum wage, and another that would have imposed new restrictions on development to protect scenic views.

Though the citywide results were decisive, the more localized results by precinct revealed some differences in opinion among the city's neighborhoods, illustrated in the three maps below. Mouse over each precinct to view detailed results for each precinct.

Note: precinct 1-2 includes Cliff Island, which is not visible in these maps.

Mayoral race results

Absentee votes (absentee ballots are not assigned to any precinct):

• 672 votes for M. Brennan (36.7%)
• 893 votes for E. Strimling (48.8%)
• 176 votes for T. MacMillan (9.6%)

Question 1 (minimum wage increase)

Absentee votes:

• 969 yes votes (49.2%)
• 1,001 no votes (50.8%)

Question 2 (scenic views)

Absentee votes:

• 804 yes votes (40.8%)
• 1,165 no votes (59.2%)
