Caffeine addicts take note: Portland is one of two test markets for a new Dunkin’ Donuts program that will allow customers who are members of the company’s rewards program to skip the line and get their coffee fix even faster.

Called “On-the-Go Ordering,” the program allows customers to order ahead using their cell phones, then go straight to the pick-up area, or directly through the drive-thru, to get their order. Orders can be places up to 24 hours in advance.

The program was to begin in Portland and Dallas today , and the company says it hopes to roll it out nationally next year.
