BIDDEFORD — Charles Thibeau Jr., 90, died of lung cancer on Nov. 19, 2015.

He is the son of Charles Sr. and Bernice (Brand) Thibeau. He served as an infantryman in World War II.

On April 28, 1955, he married Monica Paquet in Biddeford. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this past spring. He has tirelessly and lovingly taken care of his wife, often to the detriment of his own health, for the past several years as her health has been in decline.

He is preceded in death by: his parents; and a brother, James Thibeau.

He is survived by: his wife, Monica; his five children, Lynn Kenneally and her partner Paul Conner, Karen Cyr and her husband Ben, David Thibeau and his wife Maureen, Jay Thibeau, and Barbra Thompson and her husband Brian. He is also survived by: his grandchildren, Kevin and Lauren Kenneally, Keri Thibeau, DJ, Kayla, and Sarah Thibeau, Derrick Bottom and his wife Nicole, Rachel Masse Thibeau, Craig Wade, Sydnie and Erick Nelson, and Samantha and Eric Thompson; and three greatgrandchildren, Dallen and Abbygail Bottom, and baby Cordelia Bottom, due in February.

 

 

He is also survived by: his two sisters, Marjorie Jennison, and Elsie Hill; and two brothers, Richard Thibeau, and Kenneth Thibeau; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private. Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home, 365 Main St., Saco, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
