BRUNSWICK — Shannon Brady scored a game-high 25 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lift Bowdoin to a 71-55 win over Colby on Saturday.

Bowdoin (5-2) went on a 14-0 run midway through the fourth quarter to break a 42-42 tie and take a 65-50 lead with 2:45 left.

Katie Kerrigan scored 14 points, grabbed nine rebounds and dished out six assists for Bowdoin. Marle Curle added 11 points and six rebounds.

Carylanne Wolfington led Colby (6-2) with 20 points, 14 in the first half, while also grabbing 10 rebounds. Desi Smith added 14 for the Mules.

WESTERN CONNECTICUT 77, SOUTHERN MAINE 59: Kayla Croswell scored nine of her game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter to lead the Colonials (5-3, 2-0) past the Huskies (4-5, 1-1) in a Little East Conference game in Danbury, Connecticut.

Croswell also had 11 rebounds, while Samantha Smith added 14 points for the Colonials.

Megan Pelletier had 20 points, five rebounds and three steals for the Huskies. Emily Nicholson added 10 points.

ST. JOSEPH’S 83, FISHER 40: Kelsi McNamara had 14 points as the Monks (7-2) beat the Falcons (2-4) in Lynn, Massachusetts.

Morgan Cahill added 12 points and 14 rebounds, while Norma Waggett had 13 points and Emily Benway had 10.

MEN’S BASKETBALL

WESTERN CONNECTICUT 76, SOUTHERN MAINE 68: Luis Bridtter scored 22 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Colonials (6-3, 2-0 LEC) over the Huskies (5-5, 0-2 LEC) in Danbury, Connecticut.

Tre’Von Perry added 13 points and 11 rebounds for the Colonials.

Jose Novchanthavong scored 25 points for the Huskies and Atencio Martin added 16 points and nine rebounds.

COLBY 78, BATES 74: The Mules (6-1) erased a 13-point deficit late in the second half and beat the Bobcats (4-3) in overtime in Waterville.

Sam Wilson (20 points, 10 rebounds) and Patrick Stewart (15, 10) both had a double-double for Colby.

Ryan Jann added 19 points for the Mules.

Mike Boornazian had 23 points and seven rebounds for Bates.

MAINE 2, UNION 2: Alyson Matteau and Brooke Stacey each scored a goal for the Black Bears (7-13-1) in to a tie with the Dutchwomen (0-13-5) at Orono.

Meghann Treacy finished with 30 saves for the Black Bears.

TRINITY 5, SOUTHERN MAINE 1: Shannon Farrell and Lindsay Miller each had two goals and an assist to lead the Bantams (2-4-0) over the Huskies (2-6-1) in Hartford.

Alex Mitchell scored for Southern Maine and Nia Kelly had 44 saves.

HOLY CROSS 5, COLBY 4: Emily Lissner scored 1:42 into overtime as the Crusaders (10-2) rallied for a win over the Mules (2-5-1) at Worcester, Massachusetts.

Katie McLaughlin and Bella Papapetros each had a goal and an assist for Colby, which took a 4-2 lead 4:02 into the third period.

Anna Rudinski and Jacqueline Seymour added one goal each and Angelica Crites finished with 34 saves for the Mules.

MEN’S HOCKEY

BOWDOIN 8, CONNECTICUT COLLEGE 3: Cody Todesco had three goals and two assists to lead the Polar Bears (4-5-1, 2-3-1) to a win over the Camels (1-6-2, 0-4-2) at Brunswick.

Camil Blanchet added a goal and three assists for the Polar Bears. Austin Ricci added a goal and an assist, while Jason Cahoon, Matthew Lison and Joseph Lace also scored.

Peter Cronin and Mark Schiller combined to make 29 saves for the Polar Bears.

TUFTS 2, COLBY 2: Michael Rudolf and Cam McDonald both scored as the Mules (3-3-2, 2-3-1 NESCAC) tied the Jumbos (2-4-3, 1-3-2) in Waterville.

Dom Granato had a goal and an assist for Tufts. David Lackner also scored.

Nik Nugnes stopped 36 shots for Tufts, while Emerson Verrier had 20 saves for Colby.
