The Coastal Humane Society is offering to deliver rescued puppies and adult dogs to your door on Christmas Day.

The animal shelter in Brunswick announced this month that it will hold its second annual Home for the Holidays Adoption Delivery Service.

According to a story on its website, the Coastal Humane Society has 35 dogs rescued from Georgia that are available to qualified families. Restrictions apply, as the organization will strive to match each dog with the family it feels the animal is best suited to live with.

Photographs of the dogs will be posted in a preview album that will be on the organization’s Facebook page Wednesday.

Dogs can be picked up Christmas Eve or delivered on Christmas Day. Anyone who doesn’t want the dog delivered on Christmas can come to the shelter on Saturday, Dec. 19, and apply to adopt one. Adoption fees can range from zero to $300, according to its website. For more information, call 725-5051.
