SOUTH BERWICK — Natalie Herbold scored 11 points and Emily Robida added 10 to lead Marshwood to a 55-33 win over Morse in a Class A South girls’ basketball game Friday night.

Kathleen Locke contributed nine points and seven rebounds for Marshwood (2-3), which had lost three straight after a season-opening victory against Biddeford. The Hawks stretched a 23-20 halftime lead into a 16-point advantage by the end of the third quarter.

Emma Harrington scored 11 points for Morse (3-2).

SCARBOROUGH 47, NOBLE 27: Sophie Glidden drained a pair of 3-pointers as Scarborough (3-1) opened a 24-4 first-quarter lead and coasted to victory over the Knights (0-5) in North Berwick.

Glidden was the only player to reach double figures, finishing with 17 points.

BOOTHBAY 53, HALL-DALE 34: Page Brown scored 18 points and Faith Blethen added 17 to lead the Seahawks (6-0) past the Bulldogs (2-4) in Boothbay.

Hannah Morley added 13 points, including three 3-pointers.

Kayla Johnson scored 10 points for Hall-Dale.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 51, NORTH HAVEN 37: Ashlee Dawson scored 15 points in the first half as the Lions (3-2) built a 30-16 lead on the way to a win over the Hawks (0-7) in North Haven.

Dawson finished with 25 points, eight rebounds and six blocks. Clarissa Jones scored 14 and grabbed 11 rebounds.

Maddie Hallowell had 12 points for North Haven.

MESSALONSKEE 79, CAMDEN HILLS 43: Sophie Holmes scored 19 points and McKenna Brodeur added 18 to lead the Eagles to a victory in Rockport.

Brodeur also had 10 rebounds. Kelsey Dillon scored 12 points for Messalonskee (4-1).

Charlotte Messer paced Camden Hills (1-4) with 12 points.

VALLEY 52, SEACOAST CHRISTIAN 10: Haven Mayhew, Jordan Belanger and Samantha West each scored 11 points to pace the Cavaliers (2-4) to a victory in Bingham.

Seacoast (0-5) was led by Abby Wirling with six points.

LAWRENCE 74, OCEANSIDE 35: Dominique Lewis had 19 points and eight assists to lead the Bulldogs (5-0) in Rockland.

Molly Folsom chipped in with 14 points, and Hunter Mercier had 10 points and nine rebounds.

Oceanside (2-3) was led by Anna Curtis and Makenna Brooks with six points apiece.

MT. BLUE 45, WATERVILLE 32: Caitlin Kane had 20 points and the Cougars (2-3) held Waterville to 13 points in the second half as they pulled away from the Purple Panthers (1-4) in Farmington.

Mackenzie Harris contributed 14 points and 10 rebounds.

Jordan Jabar led Waterville with 10 points.

MOUNTAIN VALLEY 54, CARRABEC 34: Karen Flaherty scored 16 points, including four 3-pointers, and the Falcons (5-0) cruised past the Cobras (2-3) in North Anson.

Ashley Russell added 12 points for Mountain Valley. Bailey Atwood and Liberty Chestnut each had six points for Carrabec.

OAK HILL 67, TELSTAR 25: Grace Sabine had 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Raiders (4-2) to a win over the Rebels (0-6) in Wales.

HOCKEY

CHEVERUS/KENNEBUNK/OLD ORCHARD BEACH 8, GORHAM/BONNY EAGLE/MASSABESIC 2: Caroline Ray notched three goals and assisted on three others while leading the Stags (7-2) to a win over the Rams (0-7) in Gorham.

Sophia Pompeo also scored three goals, and Jill Hannigan added a goal and three assists. Colleen Slattery got the other Cheverus goal.

Hannah Blair and Anna Rathborn each scored a power-play goal for Gorham.
