Donald Trump’s idea of restricting Muslim immigrants is dead on and totally legal.

In 1952, the Democratic U.S. House and Senate passed the McCarren-Walter Act over President Harry S. Truman’s veto.

The law says in part: “Whenever the president finds that the entry of any alien or any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the U.S., that the president may by proclamation, and such period of time as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens or immigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he deems necessary.”

You see? Trump is right on, and if he became president, he’d use this law to protect the lives of Americans. The protection of the citizens of the United States is the president’s first job.

Anyone can see that many of the mass murders of innocent citizens here in the United States are the result of one class of aliens, and it is Muslim. Radical Islamic terrorists are responsible for many mass murders, and those killings are not related to the Second Amendment at all.

Yet President Obama ignores this fact and follows his political agenda by blaming the lack of gun laws. His politics are putting and have put all Americans in danger.

We are not safe as long as he is in office. Allowing our enemies into the U.S. is detrimental to our interests. We need a change in leadership, and we need it now.

It is interesting that the media, the Democrats, and even some Republicans, seem not to even know this important law exists. Just listen to them spew their ignorance at Donald Trump. Trump is dead on. The law needs to be used.
