LONDON — Justin Bieber is sharing some love with Britain’s National Health Service.

The singer says he does not want to be No. 1 on Britain’s Christmas charts and has urged his fans to support a charity single instead.

Bieber is narrowly ahead of a National Health Service choir for the top spot – a popular annual competition in Britain.

The pop star tweeted Wednesday: “For 1 week it’s ok not to be #1. Let’s do the right thing & help them win. It’s Christmas.”

The Lewisham & Greenwich NHS Choir’s single “A Bridge Over You” was just several hundred sales behind Bieber’s “Love Yourself.”
