DOVER, N.H. — A New Hampshire man convicted of murdering an 18-year-old following a botched robbery has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.

Tristan Wolusky was sentenced Wednesday for the 2014 stabbing death of 18-year-old Aaron Wilkinson of Madbury.

The 19-year-old Wolusky was convicted of first-degree murder in October.

Prosecutors say the killing happened in the driveway of Wilkinson’s home following an attempted robbery for drugs and money. Wilkinson’s body was dumped on the side of a road in Lebanon, Maine.

WMUR-TV reports Wolusky said in court that he’s sorry Wilkinson is gone but continued to maintain he didn’t kill him. He is appealing his conviction.

Michael Tatum and Zachary Pinette were sentenced to 30 years to life in prison in exchange for their testimony against Wolusky.
