Emily Gilmore scored 22 points, and Bangor used a huge second quarter to defeat Portland 64-43 in a girls’ basketball game on Saturday afternoon at the Portland Expo.

Gilmore and Katie Butler scored seven points apiece in the second as the Rams (4-4) used a 22-3 run to open a 33-16 halftime lead.

Butler finished with 12 points.

Cierra Burnham led the way for the Bulldogs (0-7), scoring 10 points. Shayna Eubanks chipped in with nine.

OXFORD HILLS 48, BONNY EAGLE 40: Jayden Colby was 10 of 12 from the free-throw line, including 7 of 8 in the fourth quarter as the Vikings (5-2) pulled away from the Scots (3-4) at Standish.

Erin Morton led Oxford Hills with 18 points; Colby finished with 14.

Mackenzie Emery led Bonny Eagle with 10 points.

GORHAM 61, WINDHAM 26: Mackenzie Holmes scored 14 first-half points and Emily Esposito had 13 while leading the Rams (7-0) to a 35-8 halftime lead over Windham (3-4) at Gorham.

Esposito finished with 19 points, while Holmes had 18 points and nine rebounds.

DEERING 54, MASSABESIC 31: Tasia Titherington and Delaney Haines each scored 15 points as the Rams (6-2) downed the Mustangs (1-6) at Portland.

Amanda Brett added 13 points and eight rebounds, while Abby Ramirez had 10 assists for Deering.

Skyler Renaud led the Mustangs with 10 points.

GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 57, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 47: Isabelle DeTroy scored 14 points and had nine assists as the Patriots (7-1) handled the Phoenix (2-5) at Gray.

Grace Kariotis and Ashley Jordan each had 12 points, while Skye Conley finished with 11 points for the Patriots.

Emily Hogan led the Phoenix with 15 points, Alex Bessey added 13 and Haley Turcotte had 11 for the Phoenix. Hogan and Turcotte each had three of Spruce Mountain’s nine 3-pointers.

FREEPORT 63, MARANACOOK 14: Regan Lynch led three players in double figures for the Falcons (5-2) as they cruised past the Black Bears (0-8) at Readfield.

Lynch scored 14 points, Megan Cormier had 11, and Taylor Rinaldi tossed in 10.

Jana Elwell was the top scorer for Maranacook with six points.

TRAIP ACADEMY 38, SACOPEE VALLEY 25: Marina Casey had six first-half points, and Jessica Segura and Cassidy Delano scored five each to help stake the Rangers (2-6) to a 20-9 halftime lead over Sacopee Valley (3-5) at Kittery.

Segura finished with 11 points.

Helen Ruhlin’s nine points led the Hawks.

BOOTHBAY REGION 76, ST. DOMINIC 23: Faith Blethen had 24 points, including four 3-pointers, as the Seahawks (9-0) handled the Saints (4-4) at Auburn.

Page Brown also scored 24 points for Boothbay, which jumped out to a 41-12 halftime lead.

Allie Veinote led St. Dominic with nine points.

EDWARD LITTLE 55, NOBLE 25: Karli Stubbs scored 19 points while Emily Jacques and Piper Norcross added 13 and 12 points respectively to lead the Red Eddies (6-1) past the Knights (0-6) at North Berwick.

Gabby Hanson led Noble with six points.

GREATER PORTLAND CHRISTIAN 40, ISLESBORO 21: Clarissa Jones notched a double-double, scoring 19 points to go along with 10 rebounds, to lead the Lions (5-2) past the Eagles (0-5) at Islesboro.

Ashlee Dawson added seven points and six blocks for the Lions, who led 22-11 at halftime.

Jazmyne Schoppe scored eight points for Islesboro. Kayla Pendleton added seven.

MORSE 43, WESTBROOK 35: Emma Harrington had 13 points and 10 rebounds, and the Shipbuilders (4-4) controlled the inside to defeat Westbrook (3-4) at Bath.

Sierra Wallace added 10 points for Morse. Alisha Aube’s 18 points led the Blue Blazes.

YORK 54, WELLS 40: Shannon Todd had a double-double to lead the Wildcats (8-0) past the Warriors (4-2) at York.

Todd finished with a game-high 15 points and grabbed 12 boards for York, while Madigan Cogger added eight points.

Mackenzie Foss, Alyssa Loukola and Sara Ring each had five points for Wells.

MESSALONSKEE 62, OCEANSIDE 45: Sophie Holmes scored 27 points to lead the Eagles (7-1) to a win at Rockland.

Ally Turner added 16 points for Messalonskee. Alexa Mazurek led Oceanside (3-4) with 11 points.

MONMOUTH ACADEMY 51, WISCASSET 21: Tia Day and Sidney Wilson each scored nine points to lead the Mustangs at Monmouth.

Abbey Allen and Abbey Ferland added seven points apiece for Monmouth (7-1).

Gabby Chapman scored 11 points for Wiscasset (3-6).

HALL-DALE 38, OAK HILL 32: Hall-Dale outscored Oak Hill 19-1 in the second quarter to rally from an early eight-point deficit at Wales.

Dani Sweet led the Bulldogs (3-6) with 10 points while Thea Sweet added eight.

Grace Sabine led the Raiders (5-6) with eight points and seven rebounds.

LAWRENCE 64, CONY 30: Nia Irving dominated with 26 points and 24 rebounds as Lawrence (8-0) cruised past Cony (2-5) at Fairfield.

Domi Lewis added 15 points and six assists for the Bulldogs.

Autumn Sudsbury had eight points to lead the Rams.
